Norwich Green Party is this month launching its campaign to elect Adrian Ramsay as one of the first Green MPs. There couldn't be a better time to join in the unique opportunity to make history in this way, that is so critical to us all at this moment of historic threat and opportunity. In other words: it is SO important to get Greens elected to Westminster NOW, to tell the truth on issues such as manmade climate change, before it is too late...
Please help us attain our target within the next month! Please pledge; if 50 people join me in making this pledge, then that will raise £2500: enough to fund a top-quality direct-mail-shot, as we did for the Norwich North byelection! But this time, in our stronghold of Norwich South, we can WIN...
Norwich has more Green Councillors than anywhere else in Britain, 20 (18 of them in Norwich South, where Adrian is our candidate). If not here, where? If not now, when?

• Politics should not be dominated by as few as two parties, especially two parties that differ in only superficial ways, as is common throughout the world.

• I am supporting the Green Party because it is the only party that truly recognises that changes are needed in our fundamental approach to the way we live on this tiny planet. Business as usual as presented by the other grey parties is not a viable option. Sadly however Westminster politics is still an arena in which the Green movement must engage. All the changes we make in our personal lives are important but there also need to be a changes in the goals our society sets itself. Westminster is one of the places in which to bring about those changes. Adrian Ramsay has a real chance to make a breakthrough. I am certain that there will be Green MPs in the future because I feel that the Green Movement of today, like the Socialist Movement of the 19th and 20th C is an expression of a genuine underlying social movement. There is a broad Green constituency and people are coming forward to represent it. In Norwich South Adrian has the chance to be the first of the many who will come after him, let us give him all the support we can.
